Kohsar University Murree, a breakthrough in the educational development of Murree and its adjoining areas, was recently established by the Government of the Punjab vide Kohsar University Murree Act2020, (IX of 2020). Kohsar University Murree is offering BS 4-Years/BS Lateral and MS 2-Years programs in different Disciplines

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Minimum 45% Marks (50% Marks for CS and Software Engineering) in Intermediate / A-Level or equivalent in relevant field, No 3 rd division in an academic career. For BS Lateral: • 14 years of formal Education for BSc or equivalent. Intermediate with Minimum of 50% marks also 50% marks in two-year BSc (Annual system). Moreover, candidate should pass KUM entrance test. Degree Completion Requirement: • BS degree will be awarded on completion of minimum requirements according to KUM policy. • *Departments with subsidized fee structure will run as Evening Programs. • University reserves the right to cancel admission in any program.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

16 years of qualification with a minimum of 2.5 out of 4.0 CGPA or 50% marks in case of an annual system in a relevant field. No 3rd division in an academic career. Entry test/Interview will be conducted by university on July 12th, 2023, at 1:00 PM.

HOW TO APPLY

• Online applications are acceptable. For this purpose, visit University website: www.kum.edu.pk, after entering data take print and send it on following address: Kohsar University Murree admin Block, Kashmir Point Murree. • The applications must be accompanied with Original Demand Draft amounting Rs 1000/-in favor of “Treasurer Kohsar University Murree” or Online pay in KOHSAR UNIVERSITY MAIN RECEIPT ACCOUNT “5310217226400017. (NOTE: Please attach original Deposit slip) • Applicants can mention a maximum of three preferences for which they want to get admission on the same application form. (For degree programs only) • All admissions at university will be offered provisionally. In case of final result of the previous examination is awaited, then provision of Hope Certificate/ affidavits (if applicable), from the school/college last attended can provide the basis for a conditional provisional offer of admission in university. This provisional offer is confirmed once the result has been submitted and eligibility criteria fully met, including the submission of required documents by the student. In case of nonsecuring minimum eligibility criteria then students can be dropped, and refundable fee can be refunded as per university rule.
