ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

⚫ MBBS from one of the recognized Universities shown in schedules I & II of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Act.

⚫ Valid Registration certificate of PM&DC as a Medical Practitioner. One year House Job in a recognized teaching institute, with Preferably 06 months in the relevant specialty.

⚫ Pharm.D candidates can also apply for M.S/M. Phil Pharmacology Course.

No separate call letters shall be issued for the entry test/interview & selection; therefore candidates are advised to note the important dates given in the schedule.

The Courses are approved by CPSP/PMDC & HEC

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

⚫ The application form along with the Bank challan can be obtained from Sindh Bank, VIP Road branch Larkana OR application form can be downloaded from the website of SMBBMU, www.smbbmu.edu.pk. After paying Bank challan at Sindh Bank, the receipt, complete application form, and two attested photocopy sets of all documents according to the checklist should be submitted at the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, SMBBMU @ CMC Larkana,

⚫ There shall be an entry test for the selection of candidates for FCPS-II in those disciplines, in which the applications exceed the number of available seats. The Venue & Time of Entry Test for all courses shall be announced with Admit Cards.

Only those candidates who qualify written entry test shall be called for an interview. Selection shall be based on merit against the availability of several seats. 

⚫ The decision of the Postgraduate Committee in the interview shall be final.

No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates, for appearing in the entry test/interview.

• Postgraduate Directorate reserves the right of any modification in the schedule/courses (due to unavoidable circumstances).

All those candidates who are in Government Service / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies or other Universities should apply through proper channels, otherwise, their applications shall not be entertained, however, they can send advance copies with relevant documents.

The Postgraduate Selection Committee reserves the right to cancel any admission. However, the candidates shall have the right to appeal with Competent Authority within 02 weeks. Entry test & all other fees are non-refundable. Seats are limited in all disciplines. Incomplete forms shall not be entertained. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FCPS-II CANDIDATES

The candidates who wish to start FCPS-II training should apply on the prescribed form before the closing date.

⚫After the closing date: no application shall be entertained.

⚫ The option chosen for course/unit/ supervisor once given in the interview shall be final and shall not be changed after the interview.

⚫ The mutual change of unit/supervisor shall not be allowed after the final selection in the interview.
